Official transcripts may be obtained from the Registrar's Office.
How to Obtain an Official Transcript
In Person
- Complete and sign a Transcript Request Card, available in the main lobby
outside of the Registrar's Office.
- Pay the applicable fees at the
Central
Cashier during business hours. The Central Cashier does not accept
credit or debit cards.
- Submit your validated Transcript Request Card to the Registrar's Office.
- Valid photo identification is required.
- If you would like to "Hand Carry" your transcript, a sealed transcript
will be available in a few minutes. (Orders of 20 copies or more may
take longer.)
- Requests to mail or fax your transcript are typically processed within two business days of receipt.
- Express shipping of your
transcript is available for requests received before noon, and will be
sent out the same day. Additional fees
apply.
By Mail

- Complete and sign a Request for Official Transcripts.
- Include a check or money order (US Dollars) payable to: UC
REGENTS.
- Mail your completed form and payment to the
Central Cashier.
Transcripts requested by mail are typically processed within two
business days of receipt from the Central Cashier. Processing will begin once payment is received by the Registrar's Office from the Central Cashier.
Via Fax
- Complete and sign a Request for Official Transcripts.
- Fax your Request for Official Transcripts Form to: 949-824-7896.
- Pay the applicable fees to the
Central
Cashier through Western
Union, or by sending someone to the
Central Cashier to pay the
fees on your behalf.
Transcripts requested by mail are typically processed within two
business days of receipt from the Central Cashier. Processing will begin once payment is received by the Registrar's Office from the Central Cashier.
Electronic Transcripts
Electronic official transcripts are not available, except with our EDI trading partners.
NOTE: The Registrar's Office does not maintain records for course work taken through
UCI Extension. If you need
transcripts for courses taken through UCI Extension, please visit their website.
