Randomized Seating: | This section allows instructors to assign students to random seats in the selected
lecture hall. The students will be evenly spaced if there are more
seats than students. If you click the Reserve left-handed seats box,
the room's left handed seats will be listed together at the end instead
of being assigned to students; this allows an instructor to accommodate
requests for a seat change from left-handed students. If you have extra
students not listed on the roster, such as UCI Continuing Education students,
enter the number of extra seats needed in the Additional Seats Needed
box, and that number of randomly assigned extra seats will be listed at
the bottom.
Visit http://www.classroom.uci.edu if your classroom is not listed. Note that it must have fixed, individually labeled seats. Contact Classroom Technology Support if you have further questions. Technical note: WebRoster uses these files to assign randomized seats: https://www.reg.uci.edu/registrar/rooms. |
