Transfer Credit for Courses Taken Elsewhere

Courses and grades from other institutions are not itemized on your UCI transcript. Transfer credit is shown as total units transferred. Only transfer credit from another UC will be computed in your UC grade point average (GPA). To get credit from other colleges transferred onto your UCI record have the college send an official transcript to: University of California, Irvine Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools 204 Administration Irvine, CA 92697-1075 An admissions counselor will review the transcript, determine transferable units and send a copy to your school or program. Unit conversion: semester units times 1.5 = quarter units quarter units times .667 or quarter units divided by 1.5 = semester units
