  1. How do I obtain a copy of my grades or transcript?
    • Current students* login to StudentAccess using their UCInetID and password.

    • Current or former students* may pickup an unofficial transcript at the Registrar's Office Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm, located on the lobby floor of Aldrich Hall.

    • Current or former students* may request an unofficial copy of their transcript to be mailed to them by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

      Be sure to include your name as it appears on your UCI record, your birthdate and/or Social Security number, and your signature.

      * Medical students should contact the Curricular Affairs Office in the School of Medicine at 949 824-5283. University Extension students should contact that office at 949 824-5418.

  2. What hours is the Registrar's Office open for business?
    • Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, except holidays. If you also need to interact with the Cashier's Office, their hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

  3. What is UCI's CEEB Code?
    • 001314.

  4. How do I receive credit for courses taken at another educational institution?
    • Request the other institution to send an official transcript to:

      Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools
      UC Irvine
      Irvine, CA 92697-1075

      For further information, call the Admissions Office at 949 824-6703.

  5. How will my transfer credit appear on my UCI record?
    • Courses and grades from other institutions are not itemized on your UCI transcript. Transfer credit is shown as total units transferred. Only transfer credit from another UC will be computed into a student's UC grade point average (GPA).

  6. How do I change my address on my UCI records?
  7. Address changes can be made in several different ways:

    • If you have a UCInetID and password, a change of address can be entered in StudentAccess.
    • You can submit a request to change your address by mail to:

    *Please specify if the change is for local address, permanent address or both.

  8. How do I change my major?
    • Fill out a Change of Major Petition and submit it to the academic counseling office in the school or program with which you wish to be affiliated. The petitions are available at the Registrar's Office and all academic counseling offices.
