WebGrades
- Open your web browser at the FACNET site: http://www.reg.uci.edu/facnet.
(To use the Registrar's secure web server, AOL users need to minimize the AOL browser and open Internet Explorer or
Netscape Navigator.)
- Click on "WebGrades."
- Follow steps 3 and 4 above in WebRoster for authentication. You are returned to the WebGrades list of classes you are teaching.
- Select the class section for which you want to enter grades or you may check under the merge column to merge rosters.
- Enter grades or upload a text file. Your entries are checked against the Registrar's official enrollment.
Invalid entries are noted immediately above the list of students. Make corrections and again click on "Save Grades."
- When you are satisfied that grades are entered correctly and completely, click on "Officially Submit Grades."
Note: The "Officially Submit" button will not appear in WebGrades until the beginning of the grade submission period, 5pm the last day of instruction for the term.
- You are asked to confirm you want to officially submit grades or cancel if you wish to
continue editing your final grades.
- You will receive confirmation that your grades have been submitted successfully to the Registrar.
- You may utilize multiple sessions to enter or edit grades; just officially submit by 5pm
on the published deadline, date.
[Grades may first be submitted after 5:00pm on the last day of instruction for the term.]
- For reference, the "WebGrades Status" page on FACNET lists all electronic grade submissions.
