WebRosters
- Open your web browser at the FACNET site: http://www.reg.uci.edu/facnet.
(To use the Registrar's secure web server, AOL users need to minimize the AOL browser
and open Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.)
- Click on "WebRoster" then click on the authentication link.
- Enter your UCInetID and password on the "UCInetID WebAuthentication" page. The authentication page returns you to
WebRoster and a list of classes you are teaching for the current quarter.
- View any single class roster by clicking its 5-digit course code button.

- Authorize your TAs to view selected rosters by clicking on "Allow Other Viewers."
Additional Options:
- Sort the class roster by selected criteria such as grade level or add optional fields such as students' email addresses, majors, and grade level. Then click on one of the gray "Redisplay/Display" boxes to list the output in web format, fixed text format, or tabbed text.
- Merge multiple class sections together. Click in the small box in the merge column to identify class sections that you want to merge into one list. Then click "Merge Rosters."
- Download the roster to an Excel file or other fixed text or tabbed text application.
- Generate a randomized seating chart for a class held in a large lecture hall.
- A link to "UCI Access Roster" will appear if there are UCI Access students in your class. Click on the link to view the student(s) enrolled via University Extension.
